Just a quick note...This car was offered for sale right here on the registry by Larry Allen when I found and purchased it. This is a restored, pristeen quality vehicle. It has the 360 "wide web" unmarked block from the factory. Go Pak with Twin Grip Delete. The Commodore Blue with the white reverse "C stripe" is a stunning combination. The paint is of absolute show quality and the body is as straight as it gets! I love driving this car. It is stable, agile, and incredibly fast. Underhood is bone stock except for a revised cam and valvetrain which resulted in an incredibly high torque curve from 2200-5000 rpm range and a somewhat lopey idle. This car is by far one of the most beautiful examples of the Donohue heritage still remaining in this country. I have the original build sheet and documentation back to 1972. |
