I am either the 2nd or 3rd owner of this car. I found it in 1984 when I was delivering pizza's. I talked the lady into selling it to me for $700.00. I drove the car to a Nashville Car show in August 1988. It was a memorable trip because the fuel pump went out and I got married that Monday (8/8/88). We drove to Branson. MO and then back to St. Louis, MO. When we got back home, I discovered I had two (2) dead cylinders (#'s 1 & 8). I rebuilt the 360 and drove it until 1992, when I started a Heat and Cooling Company. The water pump started leaking, but before I could replace it, my brother-in-law took the battery for his ford, now I am waiting for him to bring back the battery. Then an old patch on the gas tank started leaking, so the Donohue sits under the car port on blocks with a car cover. Currently in 2003, I have started working on the car, the gas tank is fixed and I now have a garage so I hope to go through the motor this winter. Oh yeah, when I got the car, I found glass under the back seat and one of the fenders looked newer. I suspect it had been in an accident at one time.
